Janine Bradbury

Janine is Assistant Principal Viola in the FSO. She resides in Commerce, MI and maintains a private studio teaching violin and viola lessons. As an active freelancer, Janine performs frequently in the Upper and Lower peninsulas. She is a member of the Ann Arbor Symphony and LaCorda Ensemble which performs at weddings and special events. Ms. Bradbury played in the pit for professional Broadway shows at the Fisher and Masonic Theatres in Detroit for 15 years, and was a regular sub for the national tour of Phantom of the Opera.  Other engagements include performing with Smokey Robinson, Aretha Franklin, Plant and Page, Earth,Wind and Fire, and Anne Murray. Janine loves performing with the FSO and feels blessed to be able to work so closely with Enrique. Her horse, Helen, is her partner in practicing the equine art of dressage. She also has two cats and enjoys gardening. Ms. Bradbury holds degrees in Music Education and Violin Performance from MSU and a Masters in Viola from The Juilliard School.
