Effective immediately, all who enter the J. Dallas Dort Music Center (Flint Institute of Music), including FSPA are no longer required to wear masks. This includes FSPA students, families, faculty, and staff. Masks will still be encouraged and available for those entering the building. FSPA lessons, classes, and ensembles will continue to use a 6’ distance guideline in classrooms and studios. Hand sanitizer and sanitizer wipes will remain available thought the building, and thorough cleaning protocols will continue. FSPA classes will remain 6ft apart when two or more gather. We request that students stay home if they exhibit any signs of illness before attending classes, rehearsals, or performances.
